70 Years of OSAKA YUKA INDUSTRY
OSAKA YUKA INDUSTRY; born in Osaka in 1948. Below is an introduction to our history, from our founding to the present.
Founding Era
1949
Began operations in Osaka City and focused on paraffin refining
The founder, Takashi Hotta used a 10-step-type press, he built himself and commenced paraffin manufacturing.
1949OSAKA YUKA INDUSTRY is established and distillation apparatus completed
1950Commenced distillation of cresylic acid
1955Commenced distillation of crude tar acid
1961Commenced manufacturing of synthetic resin for laminates
Move to Hirakata City
1962
Moved the head office and factory to the Tsuda area of Hirakata City and became a corporation
Moved the head office and factory to the Tsuda area of Hirakata City and turned the business into a K.K. (joint-stock company) and started full-fledged operation as a chemicals company.
1963Completed vacuum distillation apparatus
1969Received recognition as a first-rate good company of Hirakata City from the Hirakata Tax Office.
1973
Moved head office and factory to the Kasuga area of Hirakata City
Moved the head office and factory to Hirakata Industrial Park, located in the Kasuga area of Hirakata City. Increased production capacity of synthetic resin to 500 tons per month.
Completed Former Plant A
Completed precision distillation apparatus after forecasting that precision distillation projects would increase even though there had only been simple distillation apparatuses in the past.
1976Awarded an encouragement prize at the Osaka Prefecture Factory Greening Contest
1985Built a new company building and created a technology sales division
1988
Completed Plant B
In parallel with the rising level of the chemical industry, completed high-performance distillation apparatus characterized by a multitude of processing steps.
1997
Completed Plant C
Completed large distillation apparatus that can deal with various kinds of items after clients came to increasingly deal with more kinds of items.

Completed High vacuum distillation apparatus
Completed the High vacuum small-scale distillation apparatus in order to deal with various kinds of items in small amounts.
2001Mentioned in “100 Great Companies of Osaka” (published by THE NIKKAN KOGYO SHIMBUN,LTD.)
2004
Completed Plant A
In order to deal with various kinds of items in small amounts, completed small-scale high-performance distillation apparatus.

2012
Completed research experiment building
In order to put efforts into support the R&D of clients, completed a research experiment building where alterations can be made to equipment in a flexible manner in accordance with client requests.
2013
Completed facilities for R&D
Completed high performance R&D distillation facilities that scale up from lab scale in order to put efforts into support the R&D of clients.
2014
Plant business commencement
Commenced sales of distillation apparatuses utilizing our knowledge in commissioned distillation.
2015
Expansion of research laboratory building
Expansion of research laboratory building to increase production capacity
2017
Listed on JASDAQ
Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ (Standard).
2019
Head office relocated to Shinmachi, Hirakata City; Tokyo sales office established in Chuo Ward, Tokyo
In order to quickly respond to domestic needs, we relocated our head office and established a Tokyo sales office.
